Target does not carry Amazon gift cards

Target sells prepaid Visa and Mastercard gift cards. Amazon lists Visa and Mastercard prepaid cards among accepted payment methods, subject to its prepaid restrictions and the issuer's authorization rules. These are payment cards, not Amazon gift cards.
Read the activation fee, merchant restrictions and available balance before buying. The card must cover the amount charged to it: Amazon does not split payment across multiple credit or debit cards. An accepted card can be combined with an existing Amazon gift-card balance. Do not assume every prepaid card can reload an Amazon balance or buy another gift card.

Workaround 2: a digital Amazon shopper reward
